Description:

Athol has not one but two lovely recreational lakes open to the public. One is Silver Lake (the other is Lake Ellis), a spring-fed, trout-stocked gem with a large beach, bathhouse, and picnic area. The 15-acre park also sports three regulation ball fields and a skateboard area.

 

Directions:

From Athol Center go north on Crescent St. 0.1 mi., bear left on Fish St. and go 0.3 mi. to end of road.
