Brooks Woodland: Roaring Brook Tract

Description:

The Roaring Brook Tract is an important link between the open North Common Meadow in Petersham center and the rest of the almost 700-acre Brooks Woodland Preserve. Three miles of trails offer a number of loops through woodland and swamp, across Roaring Brook, and up, down and around a hill. The tract can be accessed through North Common Meadow or from a parking area on East St. (Also visit the Connor’s Pond Tract and the Swift River Tract.)

Directions:

From Rte. 2, take Exit 17 and go south on Rte. 32. In Petersham center, take East St. 0.8 miles to entrance on left.
