Town of WarwickWarwick, MA Magnificent recreational opportunities in a town almost half of which is state forest, surrounding a quintessential town center. Description:To many observers, Warwick, founded in 1763, reflects quintessentially Yankee New England in its look, its feel, and its ways. Its charming town center is the focus of a wide range of community events, including an annual Old Home Days and Arts Show, and its fewer than 1,000 residents celebrate a sense of community. In addition to graceful homes and public buildings, the town common also boasts a stack of millstones from an 18th-century gristmill and a year-round fountain that flows one-half mile from a stream on Mount Grace. Near the center is the curious Wawbeek Rock, a huge glacial erratic inscribed with a biblical quotation. From Rte. 2, take Exit 15 and follow Rte. 122 north into Orange center. Turn left onto West Main St. (Rte. 2A) and continue to Rte. 78. Turn right and proceed into Warwick center. Contact:
