Warwick State Forest & Sheomet PondWarwick, MA Multiple tracts and trails, plus the popular Sheomet Pond (Clubhouse Pond). Description:Warwick State Forest has over 25 miles of dirt roads crisscrossing 7,000 acres in five different tracts, some of which abut Mount Grace State Forest. A portion of the white-blazed Metacomet-Monadnock Trail (the M&M) traverses both forests. No official map exists of Warwick State Forest, but many trails can be determined from street and topographic maps. To Sheomet Pond: From Athol center, go north on Exchange St. across bridge. Turn left on Pequog Ave., and go 6.4 mi. Turn right at sign on dirt road. Follow to lake. Contact:
