Description:

Founded in 1982, the North Quabbin Chamber of Commerce serves both the business community and the public of the nine-town region: Athol, Erving, New Salem, Orange, Petersham, Phillipston, Royalston, Warwick and Wendell. It acts as a clearinghouse for information for the business community, promotes downtown retail and service development, and provides liaison between the business community and numerous health and human service programs. The Chamber also, however, sponsors and co-sponsors theatrical, musical, and other cultural activities in the region and acts as a resource to other community organizations planning area-wide activities.
